Meet Our Team
Matthew Chambers
vCIO
Matthew joined E-N Computers in January 2026. He learned IT in the trenches: closing tens of thousands of tickets, stabilizing fragile environments, and defending systems where downtime meant real consequences. Over two decades, he moved from front-line operations into leading migrations, security programs, compliance efforts, and automation initiatives for organizations ranging from solo founders to global enterprises.
After more than a decade supporting complex cybersecurity environments at Dell SecureWorks and building his own managed services practice, Matthew developed a clear perspective on how small operational shortcuts quietly accumulate into strategic debt. Today, his work focuses upstream on preparation, sequencing, and institutional memory. He helps teams surface risks early, connect technical signals to business outcomes, and reduce surprises before they turn into incidents.
Security remains his foundation, guided by a simple ethos: helping organizations protect what is theirs and keeping people from taking what isn’t. As vCIO, Matthew works closely with leadership teams to strengthen security posture, improve operational clarity, and build systems that hold up under pressure.
Matthew writes about systems-level thinking, organizational failure modes, and the human patterns behind technical breakdowns. He spends time outdoors across California and believes strong IT organizations are built on clear ownership, honest communication, and thoughtful preparation, not heroics.
How can we help?
