Ashton joined E-N Computers in August 2026. He brings more than 10 years of IT leadership experience across financial services, manufacturing, and nonprofit organizations, most recently as a Network Administrator, where he built the company’s CMMC Level 2 cybersecurity governance framework and led a modernization of its network infrastructure with Cisco and Fortinet.

Before that, Ashton spent two years as a Systems Administrator II in banking, where he led the migration of 20 branches and two data centers to Cisco Meraki SD-WAN and managed infrastructure compliance with federal banking regulations. He holds a master’s degree in information technology from Liberty University, where his thesis explored using machine learning to personalize cybersecurity training based on individual risk.

“No two businesses run the same way,” Ashton says. “I enjoy figuring out how a client works day to day, then building their IT strategy around that.”

Ashton lives in Lynchburg with his wife and their two dogs, Ansel and Archie. Outside of work, you can find Ashton backpacking along the Appalachian Trail or coaching youth basketball.
